So much has been said about the effects of oil on the environment and wildlife. Recently a wildlife group stated that they had cleaned up 100 birds. Hopefully they have a new process, typically all the birds cleaned up from the Exxon Valdez spill died even after being cleaned. Such a tragedy!
I volunteer for a thrift shop that gives it proceeds to neuter/spay clinics and adopt out shelter animals - I understand the the shelters in Forida are at 5X capacity. Please do what you can!
